Ep 5: Your time will come.

 Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

Yesterday I got the chance to have an amazing conversation with one of my mom's friend, Kak Asma. She was very nice and cute, and I'm truly inspired by her story. We went on a one day trip to Alor Setar, I and my siblings went along with Kak Asma. We have a chance to hear Kak Asma amazing experience through her 30s journey, how she can be successful, support her family, brought her parent to umrah, travel around the world, buy all the things that she want. She told us that she's going to South Korea for the second time, and I ask her how she save her money for that trip. And it is where our long conversation begins.

She told us that she's been to Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, Mekkah & Madinah. She say that, back then she's just an ordinary student, ordinary person, comes from an ordinary family, her dad was a retired soldier and her mom was a babysitter. She was the first born child and I think she was the strongest one. She say that if we want to enjoy our life and make it successful, we must dare to face the all the hardships and challenges first. Kak Asma did not ask for her parents money since she was 17, she tried as hard as she could to save her money so she didn't need to ask from her parent. She's been working for a Physics Lecturer for approximately 14 years and now she say she can enjoy her salary, buy anything she wants, eat anything she likes, go anywhere she wants.

I told her that I envy a lot of my friends, at their age of 20s, they ticked half of my bucket lists, they already have their first car, they already have a job, have their own money, they study abroad, performed umrah with their family, going to a dreamy Europe vacations, did an adrenaline rush activities, having a high-tech devices, while I'm just an ordinary student who was struggle with her Bachelor's Degree. Then Kak Asma say that they can do all of that things because they're not from an ordinary family like us. But it is not wrong at all, it's just not our time yet. Allah swt will gives what we want at the best time because He knows the best. Our early twenties is where we struggles a lot, we have a lot of dreams to chase, we lose a lot of friends, we sacrifies our time and energy, but it's worth it at the end.

Kak Asma also highlight that education is very important. You have to be an educated person and surely success is a long journey but it is not impossibble, it can't be achieve within a thoughts or days, it's a whole process where the key is keep trying and not giving up until you reached what you want. It's the girl who never give up  on her dreams, Sarrah. That's my girl.
